[OLD] PC VPN – Video Guide

1. Download OpenVPN Connect v3 (Client)

2. Install the downloaded .msi file

3. After installation, the OpenVPN client opens automatically

4. In the client, click the "Upload File" tab

5. Then drag and drop the configuration files one by one into the client

6. Done. You can now connect to the desired server

Important before setup:

After your purchase you need to create an account. Make sure to use the same email address as for your purchase. Then enter your home network's external IP under "IP Management" – this is required for the VPN access to work correctly.

DNS settings on PS5:

1. Settings → Network → Settings → Set Up Internet Connection

2. Select current network → Options button → Advanced Settings

3. DNS Settings → Manual

4. Primary DNS: 84.201.25.236

5. Secondary DNS (required): 151.245.195.96

6. OK → Test Connection → Restart PS5

Xbox VPN – Video Guide

Check before setting up Xbox:

Open Settings → General → Network settings. For our DNS VPN, Current Network Status must show only IPv4. If it shows IPv4 & IPv6, first open the “Disable IPv6 for Xbox” guide.

Check the NAT type: Open is intended for the optimal setup. Sign in with the account used for your purchase and register your external IPv4 address in the Gaming Hub.

DNS settings on Xbox:

1. Xbox button → Settings → General → Network Settings

2. Advanced Settings → DNS Settings → Manual

3. Primary DNS: 84.201.25.236

4. Secondary DNS (required): 151.245.195.96

5. Save → Restart Xbox

Disable IPv6 – Video Guide

Disabling IPv6 can help with certain connection issues with VPNs and online gaming.

Steps (FRITZ!Box):

1. Windows key → "cmd" → Open Command Prompt

2. Enter ipconfig /all

3. Note the default gateway IP (e.g. 192.168.178.1)

4. Browser → http://fritz.box or http://<Gateway-IP>

5. Home Network → Network → Network Settings → IPv6 Addresses

6. Uncheck "Router Advertisement active in LAN"

7. Uncheck "Announce DNSv6 server via Router Advertisement"

8. If set: "Local DNSv6 server" → Reset

9. Disable "Activate DHCPv6 server in the FRITZ!Box"

10. Click Apply
